The Citizens Police Academy ("CPA") is a 9-week program designed to provide a direct overview or both law enforcement and community-related functions of the Middletown Police Department (MPD). The Citizens Police Academy is open to all Delaware residents (preference to Middletown residents) 18 years old or older. A criminal history check will be performed on all applicants. The class size is limited to 25 students. Due to the high demand for this course, applicants are encouraged to apply immediately and include a valid email address on your application.
